An ice hockey injury in his early 20s led to him turning back to bikes to stay fit, and before you knew it, he caught the mountain biking bug and was volunteering to organize and promote local events. He then spent three years as the co-race director and social media manager for Circus Bear Productions, producing the three highest attended races in the Mid-Atlantic Super Series. He’s been coaching with us since 2019. When he’s not racing mountain bikes, cyclocross, or annoying his 14-year old daughter, he works part-time for Trek. Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Tobias Keene brings a bit of unabashed Southern hospitality to all his patients. He moved to Washington, D.C. over thirty years ago as a freshman at Ivy College. Right after graduation, he attended World University’s School of Dentistry. Before opening Keene Dental in 1994, he worked for free clinics and some of the finest practices in the District. He is part of the 123 Dental Association and stays up-to-date on the latest dental discoveries.
